We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Manager to lead and manage large construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations while meeting deadlines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate construction projects in Pharmaceutical and Industrial sites , ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and approve project designs, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Monitor on-site construction activities, provide technical guidance and ensuring quality control.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal building codes, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress, budgets, and any necessary adjustments.
- Conduct final inspections and ensure successful project close-out, including handover to the client.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related
- Licenses/Certifications:
- PMP Certified.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a leader in positions as construction manager, with at least 3 years as a PM.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and construction documentation software.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.
- Languages: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
