Senior Program Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to lead, coordinate, and execute strategic initiatives across various disciplines. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project evaluations, strategy deployment, and team leadership to ensure successful project completion. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational, managerial, and technical skills to drive project milestones and optimize resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Coordination: Assess current project management methodologies and site activity workload within the Capital Projects Portfolio.
sPMO Governance & Structure: Collaborate with the site team to establish a structured sPMO governance framework, ensuring effective meeting structures and cadence.
Team Leadership & Performance: Assign tasks to the project management team, provide ongoing guidance, and maintain high levels of team productivity and performance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop and implement measurable KPIs to track and enhance project performance.
Reporting & Escalation: Conduct periodic reviews to ensure projects remain on track.
Performance Management & Dialogues: Facilitate regular performance discussions to drive continuous improvement.
Dashboard Development: Create visual boards and electronic dashboards to monitor project progress and key deliverables.
Playbook Development: Design and document a playbook encompassing standardized processes, governance frameworks, and sustainability measures.
Standard Work Implementation: Develop and implement standardized workflows to manage and track key projects and activities, ensuring optimized resource allocation and improved agility.
Task Interdependency Management: Implement a solid project management strategy that aligns with task dependencies and ensures seamless execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Proven experience in project management within a capital projects environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to develop and implement governance structures and standardization frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
Experience in performance management and KPI development.
Work Environment: This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, engagement with stakeholders at various levels, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Note: Candidates should be available to commute since relocation is not available.
