We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team. Must have a solid background in maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and installation of instrumentation systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with temperature, humidity, pressure, and flow measurement systems, working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, provide maintenance and troubleshooting services to the facilities, manufacturing operations and its associated utilities as well as the main utilities required for site operations. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of instrumentation equipment, including temperature sensors, humidity transmitters, pressure transducers, and flow meters.
- Perform Preventive and Predictive maintenance to production equipment, utilities equipment and control systems.
- Provide mechanical, electrical, electronics, fabrication, instrumentation or automated support for troubleshooting activities.
- Calibrate instruments for temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, and level controls to ensure compliance with industry standards. Install and commission instrumentation systems, including sensors, controllers, and automation technologies.
- Some of the instruments includes transmitters, scales, temperature indicators, Pressure gauges, switches, counters, sensors, detectors recorders, controllers and final control elements which are used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, weight and humidity among others.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
- Execute repairs and adjustments on malfunctioning instrumentation to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of calibrations, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the efficiency and reliability of instrumentation systems.
- Provide technical support for projects related to system upgrades and installation of new equipment.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Instrumentation or Electronic Technology.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in instrumentation maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in working with technologies for temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, and level measurement systems.
- Knowledge of PLCs, DCS systems, sensors, and transmitters.
- GMP and GDP experienced.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with data loggers and other data acquisition tools.
Shifts: 24/7 rotation
