MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate continuously with Carriers, Customs, Agents, Clients, and all involved parties to ensure optimum cargo processing and release with established due dates to avoid demurrage/detention charges.
- Perform shipment tracking and tracing and anticipate/communicate potential delays or issues affecting service levels.
- Read all e-mails in the morning to clarify doubts or difficulties with the entire Import team.
- Print all Invoices payable received: Broker, Agent, Carrier, and others.
- Oversee and prepare all import documentation, including MBL/HBL, 10+2, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, PR Treasury Department (Hacienda), and others in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Arrival Notice, Consignee Pre-Alert, Pick-Up order, and Delivery order to be filled and printed.
- All received e-mails need to be answered the same day
- 10+2, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Hacienda, ISF, AMS, and others in compliance with regulatory requirements.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar preferred
- must
- Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience
Fully Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
The position requires sitting, standing and walking associated with a normal office environment, talking and hearing. This position requires minimal weight to be lifted or force to be exerted.
Important Note: You need to be able to commute to job location since relocation package is not available.
