Project Manager (BAS) Building Automation Systems
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Building Automation Systems (BAS) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, building automation, HVAC controls, and system integration. This role requires leadership, organizational skills, and technical expertise to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting customer expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage BAS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project milestones and deliverables are met.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and integration of BAS systems, including HVAC controls, lighting controls, and energy management systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Manage project documentation, including submittals, change orders, RFIs, and closeout reports.
Provide technical guidance and support to field teams and subcontractors.
Track project performance using KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience in BAS, HVAC, or building automation industries.
Strong knowledge of BAS platforms such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, among others.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMP certification is a plus bur not requiered).
Familiarity with control systems, networking, and energy management technologies.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
