  • Coordinate and ensure timely bookings on customer behalf
  • Working as part of a team to deliver satisfaction in exports for all accounts
  • Audit charges for accuracy prior to sending to accounting for payment
  • Prepares, controls and distributes all required Export documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, ) complying with regulations and internal procedures
  •  Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
  • Administrative skills to complete all required paperwork for the export process  
  • Continuously monitor shipments from the point of receipt through to delivery  
  • Continuously monitor shipment temperature when and where applicable ensuring compliance.
  • Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
  • Able to assist in file billing and queries relating to costs . 
  • Have great interpersonal and customer care skills to build relationships with clients and answer questions / queries as they arise in an accurate and timely manner 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced targeted environment.
  • Communicate continuously with Carriers, Agents, Clients and all involved parties to ensure optimum cargo processing with established due dates.
  • Perform shipment tracking and tracing and anticipate/communicate potential delays or issues that may affect service levels.
  • Read all e-mails in the morning to clarify any doubts or difficulties with the entire Exports team.
  • Print all Invoices payable received: Agent, Airline, Carrier and other.
  • Escalate any problems as they arise and seek to find solutions  
  • Liaising with various suppliers in Puerto Rico and sending the freight via air freight or ocean freight
  • Assisting with the exportation of shipments containing pharmaceutical products and ensuring compliance of the same. Remaining compliant with the pharmaceutical specific IATA course
  • Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in the SOPs
  • Meet KPI standards, as per the company procedures
  • Responsible for all shipment-level communication between E.T.H. Cargo and all carriers, airlines, and vendors
  • Proactively express thoughts and ideas on personal training and development to Manager, which will enable you to perform better in you current and future job functions in company
  • Effective interpersonal skills excellent pro-active communication and customer service

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fully Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred .

Shift: 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday thru Friday. Available for Over Time  when needed.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

The position requires sitting, standing and walking associated with a normal office environment, talking and hearing. This position requires minimal weight to be lifted or force to be exerted.
